These are five of the most in-demand and high-paying jobs that artificial intelligence cannot replace. Look, we’ve all seen the headlines and read the articles, and we agree that artificial intelligence is evolving at a pace we’ve never seen before. But what most people don’t know is that, although AI has been progressing at this rapid pace and has reached parity in many aspects with humans in terms of object recognition and language recognition, AI is still far behind in terms of matching and reaching human parity in many aspects. Today, I want to share with you five jobs that are very high-paying and in-demand that you need to consider. The first job that I would love to talk to you about is that of a software engineer.

I know you’ve probably seen on TikTok or LinkedIn all these people claiming that chat, GPT can write a whole block of code or Midlify can write your documentation or Tab. 9 can autocomplete your code, and yes, that is true. But that is not what a software engineer does. A software engineer is somebody who is able to understand and conceptualize a problem. They are able to come up with a solution, then develop and test that solution.

So, they need to be able to uniquely understand the nuance of the problem. They need to creatively come up with the solution and then develop it based on their technical knowledge and test that solution. While AI might be able to support the software engineer when it comes to writing the documentation or even the development of the code per se, that does not mean that the AI tools that everybody’s talking about are going to replace the software engineer altogether because the AI tools don’t have the creativity, problem-solving skills, and critical thinking that a software engineer does.

And if you want to take this one step further, why not consider becoming a machine learning engineer? In that case, what you will be doing is literally developing and deploying machine learning algorithms.

So, you are creating the AI tools ultimately. The reason why I’m saying this will never be replaced by AI algorithms is that a machine learning engineer requires a deep understanding of the technology that underlies it. It requires the ability to code and also the ability to think creatively and analytically about the way that the code will be developed. So, there is literally no way that the AI tools will be able to replace the engineer. As things evolve and the AI tools take a bigger market share and become the norm in terms of helping individuals increase productivity and support in different areas of life and work, there will be so much more demand for machine learning engineers.

So definitely think about this one. If you’re still not convinced that this is an amazing opportunity, let me add one more detail. If you decide to follow this path and become a software engineer, then, according to Indeed and Glassdoor and many other resources, you would be able to make between 90 to 114 thousand dollars per year. I know that’s pretty amazing. If you’re not thinking, “Okay, I would love that, but I don’t know where to get started, and I don’t have a lot of money to learn,” well, let me tell you, you don’t need a lot of money.

You only need the motivation and the drive because nowadays, you have so many resources that you have access to, even for free.

So, for example, if you want to learn coding, you have all of these coding boot camps, like Codecademy and Free Code Camp, where you can go and learn for free. You even have access to university courses where you can study coding from Coursera or edX. So, there’s definitely no shortage of information. And if that’s not enough, then you can check out GitHub and Stack Overflow because those are communities of people who are like-minded and have been in software engineering for a long time.

They can answer any questions that you might have, or other people who are also just starting out. So, you have your people, your community over there, and you can have support in whatever you need on this path.

The second job that I think you need to take into account when you’re looking at your career path for the following years is that of a data scientist. The reason why I believe this one will probably not be replaced by artificial intelligence in the foreseeable future is that it also requires a good amount of creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving that, at least for now, cannot be replaced by AI. If you’re not familiar with what a data scientist does, well, they actually work with a huge amount of data and look for trends and patterns in order to extract insight.

They use all sorts of technologies, tools, and strategies to be able to do that, so it’s a very creative specialty, even though it might not look like that. Honestly, I don’t know any company that doesn’t work with data in one way or another, and that could be marketing data, sales data, pipeline data, or even operations and facility data. There’s data in everything these days, so data scientists are absolutely necessary to help these companies make sense of whatever data points they’re collecting and even more than that.

Nowadays, there are more and more requirements to report on a whole host of data points, depending on the industry that the company operates in. Having a data scientist in-house will become something that many companies will adopt.

If you feel like data science might be a little bit too much for you right now, then you can think about data analysis. This way, you can become a data analyst and work with reports as well, and not so much with the models like the data scientists would do. You would take the models that the data scientists have developed and use them to extract insights and notice patterns and trends in that data. Then, you can show that data through reports. If you’re still feeling like you need to be convinced, this is another opportunity that is highly paid.

A data scientist nowadays makes between $100,000 and $130,000 per year. If you’re thinking, “I would love that, but where do I learn it?” I’ve got you covered. Google Analytics, Google Data Science and Analytics are great places where you can go and learn for free a lot of what you need in terms of foundations. They also have a certification that you can pursue.

Salesforce has that as well, and I’m going to link below a video that I recently made where I talked about a great path for you to follow when it comes to Salesforce’s Trailblazer. The third job that you might want to consider is that of a product manager. While this has become more known in the technology space, because in technology, many products are being developed, a product manager can work in any industry. Essentially, what they do is they are in charge of the new and existing products in the portfolio of a company. The reason why I believe that this will not be something that AI can completely replace is basically very similar.

You need a lot of creativity to come up with the features of a product and the strategy to sell it and go to market. You also need problem-solving and critical thinking skills to assess your market insights. Therefore, there is no way an AI algorithm can completely replace a product manager. Instead, AI tools will accompany and support product managers in their work. For example, machine learning can estimate how a product will be received based on historic data, a chatbot can answer frequently asked questions, and predictive analytics can test a potential product idea.

However, I don’t see a scenario where product managers will be completely replaced by AI tools. As a product manager, you can make upwards of $130,000 per year. If you want to learn more about product management, Product Hunt and Product School are great places to start. There are also many courses on Udemy, Coursera, and edX, as well as university courses that teach the fundamentals. Product management offers lots of opportunities, and it can be even more interesting and creative if you’re not into technology like the previous two examples.

The fourth suggestion that I have for you today might actually come as a surprise because this is an area that most people believe is the easiest to be replaced by AI tools, and that is digital marketing. But I genuinely believe that a digital marketer can never be replaced by AI tools. The reason why I’m saying this is that digital marketing requires a huge amount of empathy, communication skills, creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving. As far as you can tell, an AI tool cannot replace all of these skills. Obviously, a digital marketer is somebody who creates and manages marketing campaigns for the diversity of products that a company has in its portfolio.

There is a huge amount of creativity necessary to put together a successful marketing campaign, and while AI tools can help with some aspects of the work of a digital marketer, they will never be able to build an end-to-end marketing campaign because they are lacking. First of all, the connection amongst all of these elements, but also the creativity and empathy that are required in the career and job of a digital marketer. Because you not only need to deeply understand your target audience and their emotions and beliefs.

Their values, which an AI tool will not be able to replicate, are crucial. However, you need to be able to build the entire end-to-end campaign in a way that resonates with the target audience and choose the right platforms, channels, messaging, and so on.

I believe that the most successful marketers in the future will combine their deep knowledge of their field with the abilities of AI tools to create the most successful campaigns in a fraction of the time currently required. AI tools will support productivity and rhythm, but they will never replace a digital marketer. In terms of payment, this is a highly in-demand and high-paying job, with potential earnings of over $100,000 per year. If you want to become a digital marketing specialist, Google and Meta have a wealth of free content available, with certification available for a fee. For those who are even more creative, becoming a novelist or journalist is an option, despite the existence of GPT and copy.

ai. Trust me on this one.

While it is obvious that AI tools have reached certain levels of development, such as text generation and natural language processing, there is still a long way to go before AI tools can replace proper human writing. This is because AI tools currently lack the creativity to come up with their own original storylines and the emotional depth to create believable characters. Additionally, AI tools do not understand human relationships in the same way that humans do, so they will never be able to write a proper novel.

AI tools are only able to write based on instructions and historical knowledge that already exists. If you are looking to learn how to become a writer, I recommend checking out the channel of Brandon Sanderson, who offers free courses on YouTube. Thank you for watching, and don’t forget to like and subscribe for more content.
